A hand carved wooden mud kitchen spoon that holds the fizz above the water.
The Sunflower Slotted Spoon is a hand carved wooden strainer shaped like a sunflower head, made to sit a PlayFizz above the waterline so it bubbles for longer. For mud kitchens, potion play, sand and water.
Water gets poured fast when a child is excited, and the good bits vanish before anyone has really looked. The slots hold everything in place and give the reaction somewhere to happen. It also scoops flowers and collects small treasures once the fizzing stops.
Carved by hand from Doussie, a Vietnamese plantation timber, sanded, polished and finished with food-grade oil, with a hole in the handle for hanging.
