The Grapat Mandala Pineapples is a set of 36 wooden loose parts in three shades of the one colour, dyed by hand in Catalonia. Small pieces for sorting, and for laying out mandalas across the floor.
They tip out onto the rug and the afternoon goes quiet. Children ring them out from the centre, swap one for another until the circle sits right, then count them back into the box when it's time. Gather them up with leaves and stones from the garden and the pattern changes again.
Crafted from European-sourced, sustainable timber, every Grapat piece is hand-finished using non-toxic, water-based dyes, then sealed with vegetable-based waxes and oils. The natural wood grain is intentionally preserved, celebrating the unique character and beauty of every piece.
