The Papoose Felt Fairy Mushroom Cave Set is a hand-felted wool mushroom house built for fairy gardens, small world play and nature-inspired corners of the playroom. Lift the spotted roof and a cosy cave opens beneath, ready for a family of fairies, gnomes or whichever woodland folk move in this week.
It's roomy enough for proper day-long play: at 35cm tall, 25cm wide and 17cm deep, there's space through the 10 x 10cm doorway for more than one visitor at a time. When the mood calls for a costume change, the mushroom cap lifts free and sits right on a child's head, turning them into the fairy for the afternoon. Sturdy stitching holds its shape through forest floors, tea parties and toy box tumbles, season after season.
Each set arrives as a two-piece cave: the felt base and the spotted roof that lifts away to open up the interior.
