Wattle & Clay was brought to life from an admiration of the handmade, of the eco-friendly and ofthe timeless toys which inspire wonder, spark creativity and instil mindfulness. We believe there is nothing more precious than the laughter of little ones as they delight in play, forming wondrous memories through their joy-filled exploits.

We are here to help nudge that inner artist, designer, adventurer or explorer, and seek to supply treasured items which have been meticulously crafted and are destined to be passed on for years to come.

When establishing Wattle & Clay, we were inspired by our backgrounds in international
development and grassroots campaigns which aimed to assist and empower those in poverty to
improve their lives through skill-building, education, and employment programs. We have seen
firsthand how individuals and groups in emerging economies can transform their lives when given an
opportunity, and that is why we are so passionate about supporting ethical and environmentally
friendly small-scale artisans from across the globe who lovingly craft our items.
