Description
A small hand carved wooden spoon, sized for a hand still learning to grip.
The Branch Spoon is a short hand carved wooden play spoon with a textured branch handle, made for play kitchens, mud kitchens and small hands. At 12.5cm it suits toddlers and younger children learning to hold and stir.
The thickness is what makes it work. Easy to grasp, easy to hold onto, and tactile to run a thumb along, so it tends to get picked up even when nothing is being scooped. Add it to a play kitchen and expect to be served something adventurous.
Carved by hand from Doussie, a Vietnamese plantation timber, finished with food-grade oil. Each one carries the grain of the piece it came from.
