The Wattle & Clay Doctor Kit is an 11-piece heirloom pretend play set for children aged 3 and up, made from FSC-certified beechwood, vegan leather, and 100% NZ wool felt. Each piece is considered, and made to feel like the real thing - because for a child deep in their pretend play world, it is.
The little patient gets checked in, the clipboard fills with careful notes, the hot-cold pack goes on without prompting. Every gladstone bag is sewn by hand, so no two are quite alike. Small shifts in colour from the photos are part of what makes your child's their own.

What age is the Doctor Kit designed for?
Ages 3 to 6 is the sweet spot, athough many children play with it well into primary school. The instruments are sized for small hands and the play naturally deepens as they grow. Please note the kit contains small parts and is not suitable for children under three.
Does the stethoscope work?
Yes! The stethoscope is a real, functional acoustic instrument-little ones can press it to a chest and hear an actual heartbeat. It's designed for imaginative play and early learning, not medical use however, and we recommend adult supervision when your child is using it.
