Gatherers Carryall Basket – (Unbranded)

Childhood is a series of quiet collections , a gumnut, a sea shell or cicada shell carried carefully home. The Gatherers Carryall was made for exactly this. Handwoven from natural rattan with an organic cotton linen lining, it’s sturdy enough for market mornings, toy rotations, and craft days, and light enough for small hands to carry all day.

A deep centre holds whatever today calls for - a sun hat and a favourite book, a jumble of craft supplies, a rotation of small toys, or the morning’s nature haul. Five outer pockets create little rooms of their own, so everything gets sorted rather than lost at the bottom.

Unbranded Edition

From time to time, a small number of our Gatherers Carryall Baskets are produced without their brass nameplate. Rather than set these aside, we’re offering them at a considered reduction. Each piece is handwoven from natural rattan and meets our usual quality standards; the structure, weave, and durability are the same. Only the nametag is missing.

Why it lasts:

• Handwoven natural rattan — genuinely durable, not decorative. Built for years of wandering, not a single season.
• Five outer pockets — shells in one, stones in another, craft supplies in a third. Everything has a place, nothing gets lost.
• Lightweight at 250g — generous in size (250×190×380mm) without being heavy for little arms to carry all day.
• Organic cotton linen lining — soft inside, structured outside. Holds its shape even when full.
• Designed to age beautifully — rattan develops character over time. This isn’t a basket that looks best on day one.

Each basket is handwoven individually , minor variations in the rattan weave and dimensions are a mark of its handmade character, not a flaw.
