Bladeless wooden playdough scissors for small hands.
Our handmade beechwood playdough scissors are a bladeless craft tool for children aged 3 and up, shaped for cutting playdough and soft clay.
The cutting edge is wood, blunt and rounded, so it presses through dough rather than slicing it. Opening and closing the handles works the same small muscles a child needs later for pencils and buttons, and one hand steadying the dough while the other snips is exactly how both sides of the body learn to work together.
FSC certified beechwood, finished with an all-natural coating. Grain and colour shift from piece to piece, so no two pairs come out quite the same.
They are the perfect companion to the Wood Playdough Cutter Wheel and the Wooden Playdough Mallet if you are building out a complete playdough tool kit.
